Founded by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers in 1986 as the Robotic Technology and Engineering Challenge under the guidance and inspiration of Tom Meravi and Dr. James Hannemann. Known as the National Robotics Challenge since 2005, this event is the longest continually operating robotics event in the United States and is the premier educational 
 event for open-platform robotics competition.

See how the Dayton Regional STEM School engages 6-12 grade learners in Project Based Learning (PBL) every day! Join a classroom where learners collaborate on a project, participate in inquiry-based math lessons, or integrate technology into their learning. Walk through the steps of an interdisciplinary, math-specific PBL project with a math teacher, and hear from a panel of students, teachers, and administrators. Registration is $99 and includes lunch.
