Seeking proposals to embed NASA content in Ohio classrooms

If your school or organizations trains teachers, listen in. Battelle, which manages the Ohio STEM Learning Network, is looking for proposals. The science & technology non-profit seeks partners to train teachers on using content from NASA.

Thanks to funding from NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, a group of one-time grants are available. These grants are meant to develop or expand professional development programs that leverage NASA’s subject matter expertise, education staff, or content. Overall, the link to NASA should inspire students to become the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Eight awards are planned, from $10,000 to $15,000 each. Proposals may be submitted by Ohio organizations who have a proven history of providing educator professional development.

Proposals are due by 5:00 pm, July 31, 2017.
