Regional Organizations

In addition to the work taking place with the schools and programs mentioned on the left, the following regional organizations are working to build upon and scale up STEM-education initiatives in the Southwest Ohio Region:

Dayton Regional STEM Center
The Dayton Regional STEM Center is the hub for curriculum development and design, teacher training, and support for the Dayton Region. Their work focuses on P-12 STEM Curriculum, Professional Development, STEM Educator Credentials and developing a STEM Leadership Academy. EDvention
EDvention serves as the Dayton Region’s home for science, technology, engineering and mathematics education initiatives. Its mission is to “systemically, strategically and collaboratively support STEM talent development in the Miami Valley.” Their definition of STEM education is: Using science, technology, engineering and math across disciplines to solve problems, create, innovate and lead. Strive
Strive is a collaboration amongst community organizations in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Its mission is to ensure that every child in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky is prepared for college, successful careers, and productive citizenship. For more information, visit www.strivetogether.org.
