STEMfest: Digital Discoveries

February 15 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland is excited to partner  with Reynoldsburg City Schools and our hosts at AT & T Ohio to bring you STEMfest: Digital Discoveries! At this day-long event, girls will dive into the digital world. They will learn about coding and programming and get to test their skills; girls will also meet women in the digital field to learn about the jobs that keep our technology going.

To attend the program, each girl must be a member of Girl Scouts.  Girls who are not current member can go to the site listed below and use the form to register for the program and become a member.
We held a similar event in the fall at TSTech Americas with a focus on engineering and it was an incredible success! The purpose of the STEMfest series is to expose girls to new career fields in ways that are fun and exciting. Not only will they engage in different design challenges, but they will tour the facility, meet female computer programmers, and explore about how technology impacts our everyday lives. The cost is minimal ($15), with lunch and snacks provided.

Spots are limited, so please encourage interested students to register soon, and check out our other great STEMfest coming soon MEDICAL MARVELS on 4/16/16.
