This three day professional learning experience is designed to provide participants with a real-world experience inside a fully functioning and operational science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) School, the National Inventors Hall of Fame® (middle) School…Center for STEM Learning.

During the program experience, a STEM learning environment is modeled using observation, reflection and discussion to support participant understanding of the meaning of STEM.

This professional learning experience encourages participants to think critically and creatively, and solve problems while building an understanding of STEM design principles. Embedded in the Curriculum, Assessment, Instruction design principle, is PBL, a cornerstone in this STEM environment. This program also includes observing and reflecting on PBL design, implementation and assessment .
