pW-flyerProject-Based Learning (PBL) is an authentic way to engage students in rigorous and relevant learning.

Whether you are an administrator whose school is adopting a PBL model or you are a teacher interested in energizing the work you do with students, this day-long event will offer you the chance to attend your choice of concurrent sessions where local educators and administrators will share PBL best practices.  You will leave with concrete examples of projects, inspiration from other teachers and PBL coaches, and a network of colleagues and local partners who share your enthusiasm for PBL.

Sessions will include:

  • Seminars focused on PBL best practices
  • Tuning protocols during which projects will be shared and critiqued
  • Workshops focused on brainstorming, planning or project scheduling

The symposium will take place on Friday, January 16, 2015.  The cost is $25.00 and includes lunch.

Check-in will begin at 8:30 am and the symposium will begin at 9:00 am.
