STEM education is an important tool for student success. It is interdisciplinary and cuts across multiple disciplines – STEM is more than science, technology, engineering and mathematics when done well. And because STEM education is based on partnerships that reach beyond the walls of the classroom—to include higher education and business—STEM brings the world into the classroom, shaping students who are critical thinkers, innovators, problem solvers, collaborators and strong communicators.
The Ohio STEM Learning Network (OSLN) serves to connect, share and build upon STEM-education initiatives in Ohio, ultimately creating a borderless education network. One of the goals of this network is that educators, like you, benefit from curriculum resources, peer-to-peer communications with like-minded educators, and become active participants in a living STEM-education discussion.
