OSLN Executive Director
Rich Rosen, Battelle
Leads development of OSLN strategy and revises based on actual performance; manages institutional relationships between OSLN and state/national partners; allocates portfolio of resources to OSLN participants; oversees risk management strategy; accountable for delivering the OSLN mission to stakeholders and investors.
Program Management Office
A core team that manages the execution of the OSLN total program to meet defined objectives with emphasis on quality, timeliness, and value of results; increasing management capacity for STEM education innovation; sustainability of desired network behavior.

Public Policy Research and Engagement
An organization providing fact-based examination of State of Ohio workforce development needs and translation into policy and legislative recommendations, and related public awareness and influence campaigns to maintain a high priority on advancing STEM education in Ohio.

Technical Assistance And Research Affiliates
Technical Assistance – An organization deploying a set of services and consulting to STEM platform school start-up and OSLN hub operations for knowledge dissemination, training, and gateway to best practice tools sets; facilitates creating statewide capacity for peer-to-peer technical assistance and professional development; works with research affiliates and in-residence appointments to carry out OSLN research activities.
Research Affiliate – An organization with aligned mission and proven capacity to develop data and new knowledge about STEM education and networks; provides stewardship for a specific scope of research within the OSLN.

Embedded Network Staff in Regional Hub & STEM Platform School
Embedded Network Staff – "On the ground" personnel deeply involved in deployment of STEM initiatives and platform schools in a specific region and accountable to deliver value-added support from the OSLN as demonstrated by bi-directional sharing of network innovations.
Regional Hub – A mechanism defined by a formal operating agreement between specific public K-12, higher education, and business participants - and a fiscal agent - who collectively commit investments and are accountable for spreading the impact of STEM platform schools and associated research to communities of teachers, students, and families across their region.
STEM Platform School – A non-selective school overseen by public K-12, higher education, and business participants; operating as an incubator for deploying innovative STEM education concepts; accountable for documenting and transfering valuable tools, processes, and talent to other schools; sharing common design principles with other STEM platform schools across the State.
