Don’t miss STEM designation window

Sustaining an innovative STEM approach requires flexibility and resources. Official designation as a State of Ohio STEM school can help.

Designation is open to Ohio middle and high schools. Applications are due to the Ohio Department of Education by April 1. (Application page) Previously designated schools include National Inventors Hall of Fall STEM Middle School, Metro Institute of Technology, and many more.

On Thursday, February 25 from 3:30-4:30, we (the Ohio STEM Learning Network) will host a webinar on the 2016 designation process. Stephanie Donofe from the Ohio Department Education will detail the state’s role. Our staff will explain what we evaluate in making recommendations to the committee.

We’ll also walk through each section of the application in detail.
